The Adventure to Antarctica

| October 7, 2015

Once there was an 18-year-old boy named Jack and he wanted to be the first to explore the bottom of the world, Antarctica! He wanted to explore, investigate, and write a book about Antarctica.

Four weeks later, Jack left. Five days later, he reached Antarctica. He wrote things about penguins he already knew. This is what he wrote:

  • Penguins have webbed feet
  • Penguins eat krill and other tiny animals
  • Penguins make sounds to find their mates
  • There are 17 kinds of penguins

Then, Jack wrote down things he knew about killer whales. This is what he wrote:

  • Killer whales eat penguins
  • Killer whales are black and white
  • Killer whales eat fish and krill

After Jack wrote down things about killer whales, Jack went to suit up. Thirty minutes later, he was outside in the freezing weather. He was all bundled up. He was wearing one coat, one pair of gloves, snow pants, and boots.

After exploring the icy terrain, Jack went into an igloo he had built. He researched on the internet about killer whales, penguins, and seals.
The next day, he created a book he called “The Bottom of the World.” It had 206 pages!
