A Fun Time with an Old Friend

| July 20, 2013

What would you do if you spent time with an old friend? During my winter break, I went to Germany. My mom and dad made the decision because we’ve never been there and that it would be a good experience, too. After a lot of reasoning and shouting, my sisters convinced me to go. However, being in Germany drew a lot of emotions for me, from boring to exciting.

The museums were boring, but since my old friend was there, it was exciting. We arrived in Germany at 9 a.m. I wanted to see my old friend, Odin, who lived in Belgium. But first my parents wanted to make a hotel reservation in Belgium. We then ordered a taxi cab and left for Belgium, arriving there in the afternoon. We called Odin’s parents to get their street address. When we got there, I gave Odin a hug. Then, we ate dinner at a restaurant with Odin and his two brothers.

We went back to Odin’s house, and I played with Odin along with his two brothers. It was a lot of fun. At 9:30 p.m., my dad told me it was time to leave. I didn’t want to say farewell, but I also didn’t want to go to war against my parents. So, I obeyed my mom and dad and said by to my friend. That was the last time I saw Odin, and it’s a memory I’ll never forget.
